The Patrol Vest is constructed entirely of 1000 denier Cordura nylon for strength. It has been made to be fully adjustable to fit over all ranges of mission equipment; there is 36" of overall around adjustment and 12" of vertical adjustment that allows this vest to be comfortably worn over MOPP Gear, cold weather gear, body armor.
On the back of the vest, there is a large, heavy duty drag handle. Attached to the back across the shoulders as well as six belt loops along the bottom which allow the the vest to be used with any web or duty belt. Each of the pouches that are affixed to the front of the vest feature Oxidized Brass grommets for drainage that will not corrode.
On each side of the vest there are two magazine pouches that each hold three M16 magazines or a military smoke grenade and are closed with hook and loop and a Fastex buckle. On the outsides of the main magazine pouches, there are smaller pouches that can each be used for a pistol mag or folding knife.
